We looked at Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” and re-created our own version with snowmen.
As part of Maths Week, we made board games and loved playing them with junior and senior infants, We also took a trip to Sligo IT to see Dr. Ken “It Doesn’t Add Up”
A huge “Thank You” to Pauline for her help with making these beautiful Autumn wreaths. A lovely addition to our classroom and home this Autumn. We used any leftover leaves to make some cool autumn animals.
During the month of September we took a look at the journey that our food takes in our bodies. We worked in groups to create our own digestive system and took a closer look at teeth and the effects that sugar have on the enamel.
We learned about the Spanish artist Picasso and looked at the evolution of his iconic self-portraits from the age of 15-90. We then created our own self-portraits using oil pastels.
