We were learning about the Romans with Ms Daly.

We learned about the Romans baths that’s where the cleaned themselves. They built a lot of things that we still use today like roads and glass. We still don’t know how they made it so thin.

The Colosseum is where gladiators would fight each other to the death. Sometimes it would be filled water and they would have to fight sharks. The Amphitheatre where chariot racing would take place. Aqueduct where also built by the Romans they were used to transport water.

The Romans had many Gods and Goddesses they had Gods of a lot of things example the sea and lightning.

There were many leaders that ruled over Rome one of their leaders were Julius Caesar. He was fighting against the Gaul’s. He was angry that the Celts were helping them, so he decided to attack Britain. The first time he attacked he had to battle at the beach because the Celts were waiting at the cliffs. They were able to hold them off for a few battles. The second time they brought 5 legions and 2,000 solders. The Celts were unable to hold them off.

Boudicca was a Celtic and her husband was a leader of a great army. He made peace with the romans but when he died the Romans turned on them. They stole Boudicca s land. Boudicca started an army. Londinium was burned by Boudicca. After the Romans won Boudicca poisoned herself.
